To teach you the basics of Russian (Level A1) so that you can:

  • Communicate in everyday situations
  • Read simple texts (announcements, posters, short messages)
  • Write about yourself, your family, studies, and hobbies
  • Understand simple dialogues
  • Prepare for further study at Russian universities

  • Alphabet, sounds, stress
  • Rules of reading and pronunciation
Grammar
  • Case system of nouns
  • Verbs: present, past, and future tense
  • Adjectives, pronouns, numerals
  • Syntax: simple and compound sentences
Vocabulary (780 words)
  • Introduction, family, professions
  • Home, city, shops, restaurants
  • Daily routine, seasons, holidays
  • Health, visiting a doctor
