Expulsion due to academic debt
Academic debt means:
- Unsatisfactory grades in exams and current testing.
- Missing deadlines for interim assessments.
Important to know:
- You have 2 retake attempts for each subject.
- If you fail the subject after these attempts, you may be expelled.
- Even if you have fewer than three attempts in other subjects, using up all 3 attempts in one subject may result in expulsion.
Expulsion for disciplinary violations
You may be expelled for violating:
- The University Charter
- Student Code of Conduct
- Legislation of the Russian Federation

What happens after expulsion?
The University’s MFC (Multifunctional Center) will send you a notice of contract termination (available in the “Files” section of your Personal Account).
Your Personal Account will not be blocked, but its functions will be limited. Available sections:
- “Files” – for receiving documents
- “Applications” – to request an academic transcript or submit a reinstatement application
Reinstatement at the University
Expelled students may be reinstated within 5 years after expulsion (except in cases of disciplinary violations or admission rule violations).
