Who Can Participate?
Academic mobility programs are available for:
- 3rd-5th year students (Pharmacy, Dentistry)
- 4th-6th year students (General Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Pediatrics)
- Master's degree students (Public Health, Biotechnology)
Participant Requirements:
- Good or excellent academic standing .
- Proficiency in a foreign language at a level not lower than B2 .
- Recommendation from the Institute of International Education of Sechenov University.
Step 1: Choose a Mobility Program

Practical Training
Internship
Forum
Master Class
Olympiad
Case Championships
Inform your Institute's Directorate of your participation to be included in the Institute's list of candidates.
Step 2: Apply for the Competition
Prepare the following documents:
- Application for the chosen mobility program.
- Candidate's consent for personal data processing.
- Resume (CV) in Russian and a foreign language .
- Copy of the main page of your international passport.
- Additional documents (dependent on the specific program requirements).
Selection Criteria and Bonus Points:
- Academic Score: Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 4.5 .
- Foreign Language Proficiency: Not lower than level B2.
- Certificate of proficiency in a second foreign language of the host country: +2 points.
- Scientific publications in Scopus, Web of Science: +1 point each; in RSCI, VAK: +0.5 points each.
- Participation in international conferences with presentations: +1 point.
- Participation in the Buddy Program: +1 point.
Send the correctly formatted documents strictly within the competition deadlines via email to the Department of Academic Cooperation at: vikhrova_l_n@staff.sechenov.ru and international@staff.sechenov.ru.
Email Subject Line: Specify the internship name and your surname (e.g., "Internship Beijing_Tatiana Ivanova").
Step 3: Prepare for Departure
After successful selection:
Create an Individual Curriculum: Missed classes must be made up via an individual curriculum arranged with your educational department .
Obtain a medical certificate.
Arrange insurance.
Obtain a visa (if required).
Step 4: Study/Internship Abroad
During your mobility program:
Prepare and sign all necessary reporting documents with the supervisor at the host university in advance.
Adhere to all program deadlines.
Complete all academic assignments.
Maintain your reporting documentation.
Step 5: Program Completion
After returning:
Within 3 days, submit the reporting documents signed by the supervisor of the host university, in accordance with the completed program's requirements.
