About the University

This document establishes a clear system for motivating students for achievements in academics, research, sports, and public life. Key aspects are transparency of criteria, formal recognition of merits, and material/symbolic rewards. A special status is given to the "To the Successful" medal, highlighting the outstanding achievements of graduates.

1. General Provisions

Purpose
To stimulate students' academic, research, athletic, creative, and public activities.
Regulatory Basis
Developed in accordance with Federal Law No. 273-FZ "On Education in the Russian Federation".
Application
Applies to students enrolled in core educational programs (excluding incentives already provided for by law).

2. Types of Incentives

Letter of Commendation (including letters sent to parents for schoolchildren).
Awarding a University Certificate of Merit.
Awarding the "To the Successful" medal (with a diploma) – for Bachelor's/Specialist degree graduates with excellent academic performance and active research/public engagement.
Valuable Gift.
Monetary Award (one-time payment).

3. Criteria for Incentives

Academic Activity
Victories in olympiads, competitions (confirmed by diplomas/certificates).
Athletic Achievements
Prize-winning places in competitions.
Social and Creative Activity
Volunteering, participation in University life, victories in creative competitions.
Research and Innovative Activity
Awards for research, victories in scientific competitions.
Mandatory Condition
Absence of disciplinary sanctions and academic/financial debts.

4. Procedure for Nomination

Initiators
  • Vice-Rectors, heads of departments, student bodies.
Documents
  • Petition detailing achievements + supporting documents.
For the "To the Successful" Medal
  • Petition must be submitted before the start of the State Final Attestation.
  • Approval by the Rector after verification of academic performance and SFA results.

5. Funding and Formalities

Monetary awards and valuable gifts are funded from extra-budgetary sources.
The amount of the award/cost of the gift is determined by the Rector's order.
Prohibition: Duplication of awards for the same achievement (the highest form of incentive is chosen).

6. Formal Award Ceremony

Commendations, certificates, gifts
Are presented by the Rector or an authorized person at events.
"To the Successful" Medal
  • Awarded during the graduation ceremony.
  • Names are entered into the "Book of Best Graduates" and published in the "Golden Register" on the website.

7. Additional Conditions

Non-Duplication
  • Lost certificates/medals are not reissued.
Award Design
  • Conforms to the University's corporate style.
Production
  • Certificates – University Publishing House.
  • Medals – ordered by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs.
