1. General Provisions

Purpose of the document
|
| The purpose of the document is to establish the rules for conducting the State Final Attestation (SFA) for Secondary Vocational Education (SVE) programs at Sechenov University |
|
Regulatory framework

| Federal Law "On Education in the Russian Federation", orders of the Ministry of Education and Science, University Charter |

External candidate provision
|
| Individuals who studied independently or in non-accredited institutions can undergo SFA at the University |
Forbidden
Use of communication devices during the SFA is prohibited

SFA cannot be replaced by current academic performance
4. Procedure for Conducting SFA
Admission to SFA – only with no academic debts and full completion of the curriculum
Notification deadlines – the SFA program and FQW requirements are communicated to students 6 months before the start
Conduct of defenses and exams – held at open sessions of the SEC (except for classified topics)
Grades – announced on the day of the exam ("excellent", "good", "satisfactory", "unsatisfactory")
SEC Decisions – adopted by majority vote; the chairperson's vote is decisive in case of a tie
Retake for those who missed for a valid reason – no later than 4 months
Retake after failure – no earlier than 6 months, no more than 2 times
5. Provisions for Persons with Disabilities
Consideration of individual characteristics
Conditions are adapted according to health status
General requirements
- Possibility to take the exam in a general auditorium (if no obstacles exist)
- Availability of assistants, technical means, accessible environment (ramps, elevators, etc.)
Special conditions for:
- Blind individuals (Braille, audio format)
- Visually impaired individuals (enlarged font, lighting)
- Deaf individuals (sign language interpretation, written form)
- Individuals with musculoskeletal disorders (computer technologies)

Submitted 3 months before the SFA
9. Appeals
Right to appeal – in case of procedural violations or disagreement with the results
Submission deadlines:
- Regarding procedural violations – on the day of the exam
- Regarding disagreement with results – within 1 working day after announcement
Review period – up to 3 working days
Review procedure – with participation of the graduate, SEC Chairperson
Appeal decision:
- Dismissal (if violations are unconfirmed)
- Upheld (if violations affected the result → retake)
Appeal outcome – may change the grade; the decision is final
