The Institute of International Education (IIE) includes more than 6,000 foreign students of Sechenov University from 114 countries around the world. The University's foreigners are currently enrolled in 170 educational programs, including 74 postgraduate programs and more than 70 residency programs

Organization of the educational process for the training of highly qualified personnel in accordance with the requirements of the federal state educational standards of higher education, capable of applying the acquired knowledge and skills to solve modern problems at the global level
Planning and organization of educational, research and educational work of students
Development of forms and technologies for involving foreign students in educational, research, and creative activities that ensure the unity of educational, scientific, and educational processes
Carrying out measures to adapt foreign students to the living and learning conditions in the Russian Federation
Fostering students' feelings of patriotism, love and respect for the people, national traditions and spiritual heritage of Russia, respect for the reputation of the University
