The Student Council of the Institute of International Education (IIE) is your team within Sechenov University, created to support and represent the interests of international students. It is part of the overall University Students' Council, which allows it to effectively convey your suggestions to the administration and participate in large-scale university events.

What does the IIE Student Council do?

The Council works in several key areas to make your student life fulfilling and comfortable:
Academic Support
Assists in resolving issues related to the academic process, acting as a liaison between students and the administration.
Event Organization
Council members prepare and conduct various events—from scientific seminars and conferences to cultural festivals and celebrations that help with student adaptation and unity.
Social Issues
Actively works on improving learning and living conditions by interacting with the university leadership on topics important to students.
Skill Development
Participating in the council is an excellent opportunity to enhance leadership qualities, communication skills, responsibility, and time management—some of the most in-demand skills in the job market.
